Zainab joined JMW in November 2020 as a Solicitor in the Employment Department. Prior to joining JMW, she trained and qualified at Brabners and completed seats in commercial, employment and private client.

Zainab graduated in 2017 with a 2.1 law degree from the London School of Economics. She then went on to study her legal practice course in Manchester, before commencing her training contract in September 2018. Whilst undertaking her studies Zainab was involved in various pro-bono activities.

Zainab has experience with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters including:

• unfair dismissal claims;
• redundancies;
• Equality Act matters;
• employment contracts and handbooks;
• senior exit negotiations;
• settlement agreements; and
• general advisory work.

Zainab undertakes work for large household name clients and delivers practical advice on both the risk and the commercial implications of their legal decisions.

Outside of work Zainab is interested in fashion and design, enjoys listening to podcasts and travelling.
