Tom advises clients on all aspects of construction and engineering law, with a particular focus on the resolution of complex disputes in the UK and globally. Tom’s role often involves working with clients to manage their risks during the course of the design and construction of a project to either avoid disputes or ensure that the client is best placed if a dispute does arise. This includes advising on claims under security and insurance recovery claims, including in insolvency situations.

Tom's experience includes disputes arising in the transport, social infrastructure, real estate and energy sectors (including renewables). His work often involves an international element and he is recognised as a leading practitioner in international arbitration having advised clients on disputes arising on projects in South America, the Caribbean, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
