After a law degree and passing the Bar finals Stephen entered the accounting profession to widen his experience and learning. Five years later he was a specialist tax partner in a West End firm of Chartered Accountants.
Since joining Barnes Roffe as a partner in 1995 Stephen has been much in demand for his tax knowledge and transactional skills and experience. Has advised on a number of high profile transactions for clients covering a range of business sectors and structures.
A regular speaker at seminars on a range of subjects in the tax and corporate finance areas Stephen has the knack of delivering his subject matter in a concise, informative and enjoyable way for his audience.
Stephen is a member of the ICAEW Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Oversight Board and is chair of the ICAEW Mainstream Investment Business Working Group.
