Stephanie is a Trust and Estate specialist and has extensive experience in all aspects of private client tax planning. She works with trustees, settlors and beneficiaries to establish appropriate structures to hold and transfer wealth that are practical as well as tax efficient. She also advises clients with existing structures that require simplification or restructuring.

Stephanie works with UK and offshore trustees to manage their UK tax compliance and accounting requirements. She has particular expertise in managing the complex tax issues surrounding offshore trusts with UK beneficiaries or UK assets, and ensures that her clients don’t fall foul of the many tax traps that exist for the unwary. She also advises on all aspects of inheritance tax including general planning to mitigate liabilities, Business Property Relief reviews and HMRC submissions for both Estates and Trusts. Stephanie is able to assist clients with probate and estate administration and offers a practical and efficient service for even the most complex estates.

Stephanie is a chartered accountant and qualified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner in 2007 as STEP Outstanding Student of the Year. She was chair of the STEP Kent branch for many years and still serves on the committee. In 2018 Stephanie was invited by the Office of Tax Simplification to sit on the Consultative Committee for their Inheritance Tax Review.

Outside of work Stephanie enjoys cooking, a good book and family holiday.
