Sarah principally advises the establishment of real estate funds and their deal and investment structuring, UK and cross-border corporate transactions, and the tax aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Sarah specialises in advising:

• investment fund clients on the structuring of their investments, as well as related exits;
• on the structuring of collective investment vehicles and associated real estate investment. Clients range from institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds to high-net worth investors. Experienced in UK, pan-European and global investment vehicles including limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, corporate structures and listed vehicles; and
• on the tax treatment of all real estate transactions, including forward fundings and developments, corporate acquisitions, offshore holding structures and the formation of real estate joint ventures. Particular areas of focus include the tax treatment of residential developers and operators in the “build to rent”, student accommodation and care home sectors.
