Peter Pereira is an associate in the IP team in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis. He has a broad practice across all aspects of IP litigation but has particular experience in patent litigation at both trial and appellate level. He strives to provide strategic and commercially driven advice to his clients, who are often the most sophisticated and innovative firms in their fields.

Peter’s patent litigation experience covers a broad range of technical fields including life sciences, mining and software, for both domestic and international clients. These cases have been conducted at all levels of the judiciary, predominantly in the Federal Court of Australia but also in the High Court of Australia.

In addition, Peter has substantial copyright litigation experience having acted for a large rights holder on multiple occasions in the Copyright Tribunal of Australia with respect to licensing regimes for the simulcasting of music.
