Nicole is a knowledge lawyer to Penningtons Manches' commercial dispute resolution team and is responsible for ensuring that her colleagues stay up to date with current developments in the law. This involves drafting precedents and client guides, organising and delivering training, drafting and editing legal articles, legal research and facilitating the sharing of knowledge. It also covers dealing with strategic issues such as systems, policies and processes with a view to improving efficiency and saving costs.

Nicole regularly presents training and seminars both within the firm and for external organisations, and has authored articles for a range of publications including Commercial Litigation Journal, New Law Journal, Solicitors Journal and Procurement and Outsourcing Journal. She is a member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association and the Association of Litigation PSLs.

Prior to becoming a knowledge lawyer, Nicole practised as a solicitor for over a decade, specialising in commercial dispute resolution, managing litigation (most frequently complex High Court litigation), international arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and negotiation. She dealt with a broad range of commercial disputes including shareholder, director and partnership disputes, breach of warranty claims, general contractual disputes, supply disputes and contentious insolvency.
