Maryam is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution team, specialising in disputes regarding Trusts and Estates.
She advises on a broad spectrum of contentious trusts and estates matters at both domestic and international level. She has represented a variety of clients across multiple jurisdictions, including both private individuals and professionals.
Maryam obtained a first class degree in Law from the University of Sheffield before completing the LPC at BPP University. She trained at Herbert Smith Freehills where she qualified into the firm’s dispute resolution department in 2016. During that time, she undertook a judicial assistantship at the Chancery Division of the High Court. She joined Forsters in 2021.
Maryam was named as Young Practitioner of the Year at the STEP Private Client Awards in 2020.
