Leigh is a senior associate in the London office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, having joined the firm in 2006. In addition to working in the London office, she has spent time in the Freshfields Dubai office and has a particular interest in high growth / emerging markets. She has a broad experience of private and public M&A, both domestic and international, and has acted for a range of corporates and financial sponsors on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and joint venture / consortium arrangements. She operate across a wide number of jurisdictions and sectors, with a focus on private equity. Most recently, Leigh has advised: Permira and Tilney Bestinvest on the acquisition of the Towry Group and Ingenious Asset Management; CVC Capital Partners on its acquisition of a 40% stake in Moto; Permira on its acquisition of the Lowell Group; and Apax on the IPO of its portfolio company Sophos.
