Recommended in the Legal 500 2021, Kurt has a broad corporate practice with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, strategic cross-border transactions, private equity, joint ventures and corporate insurance.
He also routinely helps companies and directors navigate general corporate challenges, including in relation to data privacy and protection, corporate governance, reorganisations and restructurings, pensions de-risking and other aspects of risk transfer and management.
Kurt has experience advising a wide range of clients, from entrepreneurs and small business owners to public listed companies, financial institutions and governments. His recent transactions have included advising in sectors such as insurance, gaming, corporate finance, oil and gas, infrastructure, aviation, and education.
Before joining BCLP, Kurt trained and practised for more than 10 years at a Magic Circle law firm in London. He has also practised as a visiting lawyer in New York, USA and in Beijing, China.
