Faye is a senior associate in Bristows’ data protection team. She advises UK and international organisations on their data privacy strategies, including developing and maintaining privacy compliance programs, which has been a particular focus over the last couple of years with the introduction of the GDPR.

Faye’s practice covers a broad spectrum of data protection and privacy issues, including individual rights requests, direct marketing and navigating the privacy challenges associated with developing new technologies. She has also assisted some of the world’s largest companies in the implementation of both controller and processor Binding Corporate Rules.

Faye has a background in commercial IT transactions, having advised upon and negotiated a wide range of technology-focused contracts, often with data at their core. She has also spent time on client secondments both in London and overseas, including with a leading global supplier of cloud technologies and an international fast food restaurant chain.

Faye has provided privacy compliance training to a wide range of Bristows’ clients and has lectured on various university programs, including the UCL IP Transactions: Law and Practice course.
