I lead the tax dispute resolution team and use the knowledge and skills gained from over 20 years of tax dispute work, including my eight-year experience of working as tax inspector. I help a wide range of clients with their interactions with HM Revenue and Customs. My clients range from large multinationals, owner managed businesses, trusts, high net worth individuals to sole traders. Each client may be facing differing challenges, be it through accusations of tax fraud, through the historic use of tax avoidance schemes or through the simple misunderstanding of the complex rules. However, they all have the same aim when they chose us to assist; to resolve the issue in a cost effective and timely manner, allowing them to concentrate and focus on their commercial activities.

We achieve this through the collective use of our experienced and knowledgeable team, which consists of former tax inspectors, former criminal investigators and highly tax qualified individuals (CTA and STEP amongst others). That collective experience and knowledge truly provides exceptional results for our clients.

Personally, whilst I negotiate solutions for clients across a wide range of taxes, my speciality is in resolving complex cross tax enquiries. Having spent part of my career in HMRC I understand HMRC’s settlement parameters and strategies and apply that knowledge to client’s fact patterns.

Outside of work I love all sports.  My days of participating in any competitive sport are over, so I get my fix through coaching football. This is in and around the time that is dedicated for being a personal chauffeur to my four sport loving children.
