Chris is a UK-based Senior Associate specialising in employment law.

Known for his down-to-earth, pragmatic and user-friendly style, Chris advises a range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues, and employment-related data protection. Chris is a major advocate for mental health and hidden disability awareness.

Working closely with colleagues across the firm, Chris regularly advises on large and sophisticated M&A transactions, with a particular experience in identifying and resolving COVID-19 and CJRS-related issues.

Chris also routinely assists clients with complex and sensitive employee-relations and discrimination matters, with a keen interest in issues involving mental health, wellbeing and hidden disabilities. Chris also has significant experience representing clients in complex and high-value litigation, with a particular focus on discrimination and "worker status" litigation.

Chris also regularly designs and delivers training to in-house legal and People teams across all areas of employment law. Chris also works alongside in-house teams to provide training to managers in employment law compliance, and best practice for managing, supporting and enhancing the wellbeing of staff with disabilities.

Chris also supports the firm's significant pro bono practice, advising and supporting individuals who would not otherwise be able to access legal advice.
