Chris Holme

Partner

Clyde & Co

Chris partners with employers to manage all the issues they face, from planning for re-organisations and outsourcings, through to managing high-value discrimination and whistle-blowing disputes in the employment tribunals. He also deals with issues around the protection of business interests, including confidentiality, restrictive covenants, and "team move issues". He is experienced in handling regulatory and data protection issues.

Chris also specialises in dealing with partnerships issues and disputes, and has extensive experience working with law and accountancy firms in relation to these issues.

Chris's work also involves supporting companies in relation to trade union issues; from working with firms to improve and develop relationships through to assisting with disputes and their resolution.

Chris partners with the companies he assists, looking to fully understand their business and the way in which they operate. This enables him to deliver commercial and pragmatic advice which really works, and fits in with, the businesses he partners with.  He works with a strong team, but remains involved in all work undertaken to ensure the high quality of work that clients expect is maintained.

Chris has been recognised by the leading directories since 2009 as an expert in employment law, and was awarded 3 Acritas stars in 2017. Legal 500 2016 says he "is a name to note", and Chambers & Partners 2015 notes he is "tireless in representing clients", and "valued for his forthrightness…he will tell you exactly how the ground lies."
