Stephen leads Mazars' Financial Services Tax team in the UK. He advises on a variety of areas, and recent projects have included; transfer pricing reviews, international re-structuring, diverted profits tax, and captive structuring. Additionally he has worked on a number of disputes with HMRC including success before the First Tier Tribunal. Most recently he has also been part of the Mazars global team responding on OECD’s BEPS project. Prior to Mazars he was at HMRC, where he had been part of the financial sector of the Large Business Service (LBS). He was the lead corporation tax specialist on a number of groups and an issue owner on a number of high profile projects in the High Risk Corporate Programme (HRCP) in both the insurance and banking sectors.
