Rhys Taylor is a barrister and arbitrator (called 1996). Rhys is based at 30 Park Place, Cardiff and 36 Bedford Row, London. His practice relates exclusively to family finance and family property disputes. He has featured as a leading practitioner in the directories for a number of years, Legal 500 2016 noting, "He is very thorough and approachable, with a huge knowledge that puts others to shame. He's helpful and goes the extra mile." Rhys lectures for the Judicial College on pensions and was joint author into a research paper published in the Family Law Journal (December 2015) entitled "Apples or Pears? Pension Offsetting on Divorce."

Rhys was voted the 2015 Jordans Family Law Awards "Family Commentator of the Year" and (jointly) the 2012 "Innovative Lawyer of the Year." Rhys sits part time as a legal chairman of the Residential Property Tribunal (Wales).
