Katherine is a Senior Associate in the Court of Protection department at JMW Solicitors LLP Manchester. She works with, and helps those clients under the court's care. She assists with managing the property and finances of clients who are unable to manage their own financial affairs. Many of her clients have suffered from brain injury, or lack mental capacity as a result of illness, negligent hospital treatment or due to old age. Katherine also acts on behalf of professional trustees for clients whose compensation is held in a personal injury trust. As well as this, she has experience with the administration of estates, wills and lasting powers of attorney. She is sensitive in her approach and guides clients through complex legalities so they understand what is happening each step of the way.
