Sarah Leiper is an English qualified lawyer in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Ms. Leiper advises on a broad range of corporate transactional and advisory matters. She has experience representing public and private companies, private equity funds, banks and other financial institutions on a variety of corporate transactions including public and private M&A, IPOs, secondary offerings, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. Ms. Leiper also focusses on shareholder activism and Environmental, Social and Governance advisory matters.

Ms. Leiper spent 18 months working in Gibson Dunn’s New York Office during 2018 – 2020, focusing primarily on public and private M&A and shareholder activism.

In both 2018 and 2020, Ms. Leiper was recognised by the Legal 500 as a key lawyer in Equity Capital Markets – Mid-High Cap.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn in 2015, Ms. Leiper practiced at a leading international law firm in London for 3½ years. In addition to her secondment to Gibson Dunn’s New York office, she has also undertaken secondments to Dubai (2013) and to GE Capital (2012).
