Rachael is an experienced associate lawyer in Bird & Bird's International HR Services group based in London, and a member of our Energy & Utilities sector group. Day-to-day she advises clients on the full spectrum of employment law matters, from litigation in the Employment Tribunal and High Court, to coordinating multi-jurisdictional advice projects, conducting due diligence and providing HR support and guidance.

She is an Australian qualified lawyer with diverse experience across Asia Pacific and Europe. In concert with Law, Rachael studied international relations and international business at Bond University and gained experience at top firms in Australia, Japan and Spain before moving to the United Kingdom in 2019. She has also gained in-house secondment experience in both the public and private sectors.

Through this breadth of experience, she has developed a specialised commerciality that she draws upon to deliver strategic and pragmatic legal advice aimed at solving problems. Rachael prides herself on providing practical solutions for clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
