Nicholas is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Litigation team at Gowling WLG.  He has a broad practice encompassing the resolution of complex freehold and leasehold disputes, and provides commercially-minded dispute resolution advice on a wide range of property-related issues to assist corporate occupiers and institutional investor landlords with the effective management of their portfolios.

Nicholas is experienced in advising his clients on a variety of landlord and tenant disputes including breaks, renewals and dilapidations. In particular, he is well-versed in advising clients on the exercise of difficult / conditional breaks, for example having advised a long-established department store on the effective exercise of a conditional break, and a national electrical retailer on a project to dispose of leasehold properties. He also has considerable experience in telecommunications, acting for both landowners and operators.
