Michael is a Chartered Tax Advisor who has worked in various areas of tax for 19 years, including personal tax and corporate tax. He has spent time working in Grant Thornton’s national tax technical unit which provides technical support and for the past 10 years he has specialised in R&D and Patent box, working with companies across all sectors to optimise the value of their innovation tax reliefs. He uses his specialist knowledge alongside his wider grounding in tax to bring value and to keep clients up-to-date on the latest requirements, best practice and key areas of HMRC interest.
