Jeremy is a regulatory law expert specialising in health and safety, criminal, healthcare, professional discipline and private prosecution matters.

After working for West Yorkshire Police and the LAA, Jeremy has 18 years' experience working in private practice within a criminal and more recently a regulatory background.

He initially worked at two criminal legal aid firms representing individuals charged with all manner of criminal offences. However since 2003 he has worked at top-tier ranked regulatory departments for both national and international solicitors firms. During that time he acted for individuals in matters relating to large and complex multi-million pound VAT fraud, mortgage fraud and ILA education fraud cases prosecuted by the CPS, HMRC and SFO. He has also represented numerous other individuals charged with the full spectrum of criminal offences.

Jeremy also has attended numerous police station interviews under caution and dealt with a number of complex POCA Confiscation matters.

More recently Jeremy has acted for clients prosecuted by the HSE in respect of breaches of Health & Safety offences. These have included both serious and fatal incident investigations. He has also represented clients at inquests.

He also has experience in healthcare matters having represented care providers and care homes in respect of investigations carried out by the CQC. Jeremy has also represented individuals who have appeared before their professional regulators in relation to fitness to practice proceedings. His Professional Discipline clients have included nurses, dentists, vets, doctors and pharmacists.

Jeremy has also acted on behalf of schools who have been the subject of SENDS Tribunal cases.

He has also conducted Private Prosecutions on behalf both corporates and individuals.
