Heather's practice covers a wide range of complex litigation and advisory work on both soft IP rights (trade marks, copyright and designs) and IT matters, with a special interest in copyright in both its traditional and digital forms.

She has advised clients regularly on contract, licensing and scope of rights issues across a range of sectors including consumer products, financial services, technology and energy.  Heather's litigation experience includes litigating both IT and IP disputes, including claims and injunctions relating to copyright in computer code, and asserting contractual and intellectual property rights in the UK against infringers.

On the non-contentious side, Heather has been involved in drafting key technology licences in the energy sector and also software and data licences for clients.

Heather has a first class law degree from Oxford university and an IP diploma from Bristol University.
