Fiona is an Executive and Leadership Coach. Prior to moving into coaching, Fiona was a Partner for 12 years in Arthur Cox, which is one of Ireland’s leading commercial law firms.
For five years, Fiona was responsible for professional development in Arthur Cox. She has initiated a range of development programmes for lawyers at all stages of their careers, from trainee to senior partner. During this time, Fiona developed her expertise in executive and leadership coaching and led the coaching programmes within the firm. Fiona has completed a Diploma in Executive and Leadership Coaching, which is accredited by the Association for Coaching. She was recently (March 2018) shortlisted for a national coaching award – the IITD’s Excellence in Coaching and Mentoring category.
Prior to heading up the L&D function, Fiona practised for 14 years in the area of EU and Irish competition and merger control law in Arthur Cox.. During this time she became a partner in the firm and worked with many of Ireland‘s largest companies, operating across a wide range of sectors including agriculture, aviation, FMCG, financial services, pharma, technology, waste and waste management. Fiona has represented clients before the European Commission and the Irish Competition Authority (now the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission). She was recognised in Chambers as one of Europe's leading competition lawyers between 2004 and 2014.
Fiona’s commercial legal practice combined with her experience as a partner makes her uniquely placed to work with leaders and high potential individuals.
