Elizabeth represents a variety of financial institutions in high-value disputes and contentious regulatory investigations. Most recently, she managed the team acting for Grant Thornton UK LLP in the successful defence of the claims brought against it by Vincent and Robert Tchenguiz, for which the team won, The Lawyer Litigation Team of the Year 2019, the Legal Business Commercial Litigation Team of the Year 2019 and the Legal Week Banking Litigation Team of the Year 2019.

In addition, Elizabeth advises clients on how to mitigate the litigation and contentious regulatory risks associated with significant market events. She has worked extensively on LIBOR remediation and conduct risk, including co-authoring the 2019/2020 Conduct Risk Series with AFME. In 2018, Elizabeth developed Disputes Aviator, an online risk management tool designed to help clients map risks associated with jurisdiction, governing law and enforcement of judgments post-Brexit, for which the product won the ‘Most Innovative Use of Technology’ at The Lawyer Awards 2018.
