The Conveyancing Association

Starting out as an estate agent in 1990, Beth quickly moved into the legal world becoming a qualified Legal Executive and later a Licenced Conveyancer, working in both high street and high volume practices.

Beth then went on to set up a consultancy, specialising in the development of efficient systems and inspirational training for professional conveyancers, domestic energy assessors and sales progressors.

In recent years she has been CEO of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers, managing director for a top 20 conveyancing law firm and is now, amongst other things, Director of Delivery for the Conveyancing Association and working group co-ordinator for the Leasehold Property Enquiries Form (LPE1).  Her most recent venture is Wicked OWL which she set up with co-director and international trainer Ian Bell to provide Online & Workplace Learning Solutions for property professionals.

Beth has been lecturing on conveyancing since 1995 for colleges, estate agents, local law societies and RICS.

As author of the Conveyancing Association White Paper, Beth's research into other jurisdictions and review of the constraints in the English conveyancing process enabled her to work with other stakeholders to develop solutions.  Her mission now is to work with the industry and policy makers to deliver those solutions and create a positive home moving experience for all.

She juggles motherhood and career with regular requests to communicate her knowledge in print and on radio & television, having recently appeared on BBC2 and BBC Look East, she also regularly chairs roundtable debates and panel discussion on all these conveyancing.
