Anthony is a partner and commercial lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience of advising clients on the legal issues surrounding the deployment and use of established and disruptive information technology.
He advises on all manner of IT transactions ranging from bread and butter software licensing, through to complex procurement, software development (proprietary and open source), cloud computing and outsourcing transactions. He acts for technology suppliers and buyers in both the private and public sectors.
Anthony has particular expertise in advising organisations on data protection and security and on related laws such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). He is a regular presenter and panellist with recent subjects including taking a look at the GDPR in the context of emerging technologies (such as artificial intelligence and machine learning) and on the data security in the context of third party risk (such as the cloud).
