Will focuses and is a regular speaker on corporate governance, corporate compliance and listed company issues. He runs Addleshaw Goddard's compliance for quoted companies (CQC) offering and, as such, spends a large proportion of his time providing governance and compliance training for, and advice to, directors, general counsel and company secretaries of listed companies. Will was recently seconded as the acting company secretary of a FTSE-listed telecommunications company.

Prior to that, he was a corporate finance lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions and spent 18 months on secondment at the UK Listing Authority.

He has contributed to several books including The Financial Services and Markets Act - A Practical Legal Guide (Sweet & Maxwell) and The Business Case for Corporate Governance (Cambridge University Press), as well as writing A Directors' Guide to The Companies Act 2006 in conjunction with the Confederation of British Industry. He is also the co-author of our market-leading Company Secretary’s Checklist – The annual report of a listed company.
