Sarah E. Lewis is counsel based in the London office.

Ms. Lewis has a wide range of experience on a variety of capital markets transactions, including equity and debt offerings, rights offerings and structured finance transactions (including mortgage-backed securities, equity-linked notes, commodities-linked notes and convertible and exchangeable securities).

Ms. Lewis' recent high profile matters include representing the Central Bank of Russia and Sberbank of Russia in connection with a $5.2 billion secondary public offering of Sberbank shares, representing OJSC MegaFon in its $1.7 billion initial public offering, and representing the underwriters in a $3 billion notes offering by BP. Sarah has also represented the underwriters in Royal Gold's $370 million convertible bond offering, and represented African Minerals Limited in its $350 million convertible bond issuance.

Ms. Lewis joined the firm in 2004 and became counsel in 2013. She was resident in the Washington, D.C. office until January 2007. She received a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004, where she was an Articles Editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law and a member of the Order of the Coif. She received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, with honors in Political Science and a second major in French Studies from Duke University in 2001.

Ms. Lewis is a member of the Bars of New York and Washington, D.C., and a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Her native language is English, and she is proficient in French.
