Sally Field is a partner in Bristows. She is an IP specialist who has advised on dispute resolution issues for over 25 years. Her advice covers the full range of intellectual property rights and extends across a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, medical devices, mechanical and FMCG products, as well as films, music and other media. Sally has advised on many high-profile IP disputes, primarily in the fields of patents, trade marks, copyright and trade secrets. She has worked on cases in the High Court, the Patents Court and Patents County Court, the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords, as well as participating in EPO opposition proceedings in Munich. Sally has been responsible for co-ordinating litigation in Europe and the USA for multi-national corporations. She teaches patent law on the Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice course offered by the University of Oxford.
