Julien Allen is a partner in Trowers & Hamlins' Commercial Property department, which he joined in 2009 from Olswang. Julien Allen specialises in commercial real estate transactions, in particular development transactions, investment sales and acquisitions, forward fundings and joint ventures. He has worked for a wide range of developers, investors (private and institutional), local authorities and end users.

When the Court of Appeal handed down the judgment in KS Victoria Street v House of Fraser, it upheld the controversial decision made in Good Harvest LLP v Centaur Services Limited [2010] EWHC 330. The Court decided that a guarantor of a tenant's obligations under a lease could not validly guarantee the obligations of the assignee of that tenant.
