John is a Partner in CMS's Corporate team. He completed his training in 2005 with a large US law firm and subsequently worked for two major UK law firms, being made partner in 2015. John has experience of working on a variety of company and corporate finance matters including venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.

John is ranked in Chambers and Partners for "Private Equity – Venture Capital" and is described as "excellent".
