Jin is an Australian qualified litigator at Allen & Overy LLP specialising in intellectual property disputes.  His dual qualifications in law and pharmacology give him a special insight into, and understanding of, his clients' legal needs and commercial and regulatory imperatives.  Jin advises on issues surrounding the enforcement of second medical use patents and is currently involved in on-going litigation in this area, which case has been heralded in the UK as the IP case of the year (2015) and has also set legal precedent in English law.  Jin also has experience acting on international arbitration matters concerning issues of breach of confidence and in challenging the court's jurisdiction to hear a substantial EU cartel damages claim.

Prior to joining Allen & Overy LLP, Jin worked on a variety of commercial litigation matters in Australia, particularly in the area of pharmaceutical/life sciences law, administrative law and consumer and competition law.  In recognition of his work, Jin was among a select few young lawyers awarded the 2014 Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards in Australia.  He was also a dual finalist in the 2015 Awards.
