Graeme Young is a partner specialising in all aspects of EU and UK competition law. This includes advising on compliance issues, provision of dawn raids, supply and distribution agreements, joint ventures and strategic commercial agreements, merger control.

He has also advised on a number of competition law investigations under the Competition Act and competition litigation before the courts (in Scotland and in England & Wales). Graeme has specific experience in the regulated utilities sectors, including airports and aviation and other transport sectors.

He has an LL.M. in European Law from the College of Europe in Bruges and regularly advises on EU trade and regulation, including EU single market issues, procurement and state aid.

Graeme is dual-qualified (Scotland and England & Wales). He is the Chair of the Competition Section of the Law Society of England & Wales and a member of the Steering Committee of the Scottish Competition Forum.
