Gabe is an international privacy lawyer with experience in U.S., Canadian and European regulations.

Gabe is an associate in our Privacy and Data Protection Group, based in London.

Gabe advises on GDPR implementation, cross-border data transfers and the privacy implications of emerging technologies. He currently serves as a member of the Arbitration Panel for the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.

Before joining us in 2016, he served as a Westin Fellow at the International Association of Privacy Professionals, where he wrote about emerging privacy issues and advised member organizations on U.S., Canadian and European regulations. Working with leading academics and practitioners, his scholarly research has focused on data protection "adequacy" and national security surveillance.

A New York-qualified lawyer, Gabe holds a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science from McGill University in Canada. While in law school, Gabe worked for a U.S. federal judge, the Attorney General of Maryland and the World Bank anti-corruption unit. He also served as an editor of the Maryland Law Review and a member of the executive council of the Maryland Moot Court Board. Gabe is an IAPP-certified information privacy professional.
