Dushal Mehta is a Senior Associate in the Industrial Disease and Personal Injury department. Dushal joined Field Fisher in 2009. Prior to joining Field Fisher Dushal gained experience in a wide variety of claims arising out of major rail accidents, the Buncefield Oil Explosion and the group action arising out of the reclamation of the Corby Steel Works.
Since joining Fieldfisher, Dushal has specialised in acting for victims of asbestos related diseases including;
- Mesothelioma
- Lung Cancer
- Asbestosis
- Pleural Thickening
In 2014, Dushal recovered over £3 million in damages for his clients. Dushal recently settled a complex test cases for the family of the late Mrs Scorer. Dushal's successful trial in the case of Godbert v Ministry of Defence still remains the leading authority in asbestosis cases.
