Chris's work focuses on disputes involving property law (including landlord and tenant), commercial law (including professional negligence and insurance claims), and insolvency law (both corporate and personal). Recent cases include appearing as junior counsel for the successful appellant in the high-profile property fraud appeal in P&P Property Ltd v. Owen White and Catlin LLP & anor [2018] EWCA Civ 1082. He has also been instructed on a major piece of multi-jurisdictional litigation stemming from the collapse of an international investment bank.

In addition to providing drafting and advisory services, Chris regularly appears as sole counsel in the High Court, the County Court, and the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). As an advocate, Chris is equally comfortable conducting trials or making interim applications, including for urgent injunctions.
