Alison is a senior associate in Bird & Bird's International HR Services Group, based in their London office.
With more than 10 year's experience, Alison advises clients on the full range of UK employment law matters. She advises on both contentious and non-contentious issues, including the handling of disciplinary and grievance matters; redundancies (both individual and collective) and restructuring; Employment Tribunal proceedings; severance negotiations and the drafting of contractual and policy documentation.
She also has particular expertise in advising on the employment aspects of commercial transactions and the application of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 to such transactions.
Having joined the firm as a trainee in 2002, Alison qualified into the UK Employment team in 2004.
