Alexander Gorst is a Barrister-at-law whose practice has a particular emphasis upon commercial and civil litigation, white collar crime and regulatory law. Alexander was called to the Bar in 2012 and practiced at Furnival Chambers before joining Scarmans in 2017.
White collar crime
Alexander has experience of defending and prosecuting serious fraud. He was previously instructed by the Serious Fraud Office in respect of a prominent bribery and corruption investigation.
Regulatory
Alexander has extensive experience representing clients in regulatory proceedings brought by The Football Association, The Health and Care Professions Council, and The Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Proceeds of crime
Alexander specialises in all aspects of the law relating to financial wrongdoing, with particular experience in civil recovery and property freezing orders, criminal confiscation, restraint and receiverships.
