Public Sector Equality Duty
Originally broadcast on Friday, May 11, 2012 - 12:30
The public sector Equality Duty aims to prevent discrimination and advance equality by ensuring that people of different backgrounds are duly considered before a public decision is made. However, the Equality Act 2010 has dramatically altered this, allowing for more appropriate and dynamic decisions to be taken.
