Corporate governance - latest developments

The financial crisis has put a spotlight onto corporate governance, with many discussions focusing on remuneration policies within financial institutions. In April 2011 the European Commission issued a consultation paper ‘Corporate Governance Framework in the EU’, which assesses whether there should be mandatory disclosure of remuneration policies, annual remuneration reports and disclosure of individual directors remuneration. Furthermore, it considers whether there should be a mandatory shareholder vote on the remuneration policy.

Our speakers will examine these developments and provide you with practical tips to implement effective corporate governance structures.

This webinar will cover:

• Review of the latest changes
• Business continuity plans
• Succession planning
• Effective corporate governance structures and models
• Effective risk management and control
• Remuneration policies
