Whistleblowing - a growing trend?

Whistleblowing is the process whereby an employee discloses sensitive information about a colleague, employer or business practice, to an authority, in the public interest. It can have the effect of protecting an employee’s rights against dismissal, which would ordinarily emanate from such a disclosure. As changes to the unfair dismissal provisions and the case of Parkins v Sodexho have both afforded employees greater protection, it is a widely held viewpoint that whistleblowing cases will increase in number.

This essential webinar will address the changing trends in whistleblowing, whilst analysing the most relevant case law and Government proposals.
