A limited liability partnership (LLP) is a partnership in which some or all partners have limited liability. One partner is not responsible or liable for another partner's misconduct or negligence. Governed by the Limited Liability Partnership Act 2000 rather than the Companies Act 2006, they are a very different beast than regular companies.
