Serious fraud – new prosecution landscape

With the implementation of the new Bribery Act 2010, serious fraud is at the forefront of the legal agenda. Yet its prosecution is complex, requiring extensive investigative expertise and special powers to obtain and assess evidence. To tackle this, the government is creating the National Crime Agency. According to Teresa May it will ‘make the UK a more hostile environment for serious and organised crime’. Our eminent speakers will explore how the new prosecution landscape will look.

This webinar will cover:
• Whither the SFO?
• Is the City of London Police still leading?
• Fraud in the Constabularies
